Born in San Antonio Texas, but grew up in San Diego, California, Von Ware was born into an athletic household. Since family members played for the NFL, it was only natural for Von to take part in sports. He set out for high school football and track and field in San Diego. He became the California State Triple Jump Champion for Track and Field.
Von went on to become a US National Champion in the Triple Jump and competed for the Olympic National Track & Field team. He is on the World Triple Jump all time list for one of the longest jumps.
Knowing that Track & Field would come to an end, Von became interested in digital media. With his mind made up that he wanted to learn more about media - he set out and taught himself editing, graphics and shooting. Realizing he had a natural talent for motion graphics and film editing, he decided to take his talent further and pursue a career in post-production.
With an extensive list of US Olympians, he tested his skills with them. Soon, athletes were well aware of Von, and kept coming back to him for videos and graphics. With an impressive demo reel, he landed a job with JSN Sports Network in 2004 creating motion graphics for NFL, NBA, NHL and NCAA. At the same time, Von started Sypher Productions, a small production company earning an Emmy Award for Raw Track and Field. In 2006, Von was head of Video Production at the Arco Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. He just couldn't get away from the Olympic Athletes.
With an extensive sports background Von knew he needed to open his doors more and branch out of the sports world. He took an editing job at WealthTV- a HD lifestyle network, where he fine-tuned his editing skills and developed story-telling techniques.
After leaving WealthTV, Von focused on building his name and Sypher Productions. With passion, determination and drive, Von continues to create visually enticing videos and is ready for the next step in his career… Trilogy Medias.
